Santa

On Christmas eve, mom took me to see Santa. We took the train and I insisted on wearing my bee dress costume from Halloween so I could sting Santa. I didn't. Right before it was our turn to see Santa, one of Santa's helpers asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told her that I wanted a bear. When I sat on Santa's lap, I was almost too shy to tell him. I told mom that I wanted to sit in Santa's lap all day, but she told me that Santa is sort of a celebrity and that he had to get back to North Pole to get everything ready for Christmas. I settled for a couple of great photos.

The crazy thing is that on Christmas day. What should I find in my stocking but a bear. A brown bear just like the one I had asked for. Santa is the best.

The Swamp Thing Gets Her First Hair Cut

Mommy's friend Erica from the gym is a hair stylist. I trusted her to cut not only my own hair for the very first time, but mom's as well. We were both very pleased. I sat still for about 3 minutes which is all Erica needed. She is very fast! Say good bye to the Swamp Thing!

Cold. Cold.

Snip, snip those ratty dead ends away please Erica!

OMG! I Love It!!!!!

Dancing with Snoopy

If you listen closely you can hear the song that Snoopy is playing for me when I press his belly button.

Trading Clothes with my Aunties

Auntie Elyssa wearing my sweater- impressive fit considering she is 11 years older than me.
It was cold out and she was not use to the brisk Portland air.

Me wearing Auntie Eleonor's boots.
I am always prepared for bad weather-even indoors.

How does my toosh look in these?

The Lorikeets

On Easter Sunday we went to the zoo where it was surprisingly uncrowded. Here are some shots of us feeding the Lorikeets.

Singing and Dancing

I like to sing. I know many songs. We sing at school. When I am with the older kids, I am quiet, I listen and I watch. When I am with the kids my age, I conduct. Here is me singing Twinkle Twinkle with some interpretive dance at the end. Enjoy!

My New Bed

This video is from a month and a half ago when I got my new bed. When I turned two, Grandma Lauren got me a toddler bed. At first none of us slept because I got up and came out to see what was going on every hour through the night. After about a week, I learned that I should sleep as I did in my crib. It is now a benefit to us all because I can get up and go to the potty and no longer need to use diapers at night or for my nap.
