Cupcake Wars

Yesterday, auntie April's house hosted cupcake wars. I made a s'mores cupcake , which was a chocolate cupcake with a toasted marshmallow and dark chocolaye chunks topping with. Graham cracker crumble. They were ooey gooey sticky-just like a real s'more!
Dad made a dark chocolate cupcake with a cherry ganache filling, dark chocolate frosting and pistachio crumble. Mom made what she called her "Bengal tiger cupcake" which was an orange spice cupcake with dark chocolate frosting, candy covered fennel and a tiger fondant. There were 6 other submissions which were all amazingly beautiful and delicious.

Isn't he a cutie pie!  I just love him so much. I especially like it when he wears clips un his hair-like in these pictures. He is just trying to be like me but it's so adorable! !

Dumping it

Santa!!

Because of all one inch of snow, nobody was out and about on this lovely canceled school day. Lucky for us because we got right in to see Santa.  It was like a ghost town at Santaland at Macy's!! I gave Santa my list which is as follows: books, dark chocolate, ice skating, shopies, shopkins, baby alive doll, a remote control car. I also asked him some questions that have been plaguing me.1. How were you born? and 2. How old are you?  And since no one else was around to see Santa, he answered them for me and we chatted for a while. Otis didn't tell Santa what he wants because I don't think he understands Christmas yet but let me just tell you that he likes clothes with animals on them. He wants anything with wheels or the lifts or digs. he is really into dumping things out, so maybe a big dump truck. He also likes to "ride" one of his cars like a "kateboard" so maybe a scooter would be appropriate. Thanks Santa! We can't wait for Christmas!!

Car Ice

Mom was against us eating this delicious layer of ice on the car. It was an amazing buffet! Too bad you didn't get any.

Snow!!

When it snows in Portland,  the whole city shuts down. It took me and mom three and a half hours to get home two days ago because it had started snowing. We drove three miles.  We finally abandoned the car and walked the last 20 blocks because it was faster than driving. But I had way to much fun diving into the snow drifts so I got cold fast. Luckily a bus was right there so we hopped on for the last five blocks. Few!
