Slugs are Cool

Several weekends ago mommy volunteered us all to do work with the Nature Conservancy. Mostly we tagged native species and pulled the weeds around them. Otis spent most of his time holding a variety of slugs. His hands were so slimy by the end of the work party he had to wipe them on mommy's pants. It took two washes in the washing machine to get the slime out of the pants. That is powerful slime! Here is an awesome photo of him with one of his slugs.
