The day I was born.

After 78 hours of labor, I was born at 11:41 pm on February 5th, 2011 at OHSU hospital in Portland, OR. Mom had tried to have a home birth and labored for about 70 hours at home before she was too exhausted and we went to the hospital. I weighed in at 7 lbs. 12 oz, which was a bit lighter than anticipated by my midwives, but I think it is because I went poop twice as I came out (once on mom). I was named Tallulah Rose Bradley. Mom wanted to give me a last name that maybe included her last name such as Cobra, Brallier or Colladley, but in the end mom and dad went traditional. It's fine with me because it could be a bit confusing if I had a different name than both of my parents. I was 21 inches tall, which got dad excited about me becoming a basketball player when I grow up. In fact he has already picked out my basketball nickname: "Tall Lulah". I was wide awake for two hours after birth and then proceeded to sleep for about 24 hours. Uncle Elliot was my very first visitor when I was one day old. The rest of the photos here are of me at 2 days old before we left the hospital to go home.
