Tallulah Fit

I started a new workout program a few weeks ago. It will blast your abs and turn fat into fit. No expensive gym memberships or equipment required. All you need is a blanket! here's how it works. So you lie on the blanket a few times a day, every day, for about 15-20 minutes and hold your legs up. Don't let them drop! That doesn't work anything. I like the bicycle and to fully extend my legs-that gives the best work out. Move over "CrossFit", now there's "TallulahFit".

My Friends Sarah and Max

Max and Sarah came over and we had gluten free pasta and brownies. They are making a friend for me that will be making her way into the world around mom's birthday. I can't wait to talk all about milk, diapers and naps with her!

My Friend Sue

Mom and dad went to school with a Sue's daughter Alyson. We have been hanging out with Sue and I like her. She is very nice. She brought me a book that mom and dad both try to read to me. But instead of looking at the book I just stare up at them. Maybe soon I will figure out there are pretty pictures to go with the words that are right in front of me.

Our Children

It was hard for our first two children to adjust to not being the babies anymore. Isabel has been coping by spending some time in Tallulah's play and sleep stuff. Carmen just pouts.

The Best of Weeks 5 and 6

Nap time with Poppa
Momma said knock you out!
More nap time
Just had a dip in the pool
I am sleeping tons because I am growing taller by the minute. I did some yoga with mom yesterday which was fun. My acne is improving. Thankfully it will be another 12 years before I have to deal with that again.

My One Month Birthday

When I was one month old, Grandma Lise arrived for a visit. It was sunny out so we all went for a walk. Mom looks a bit pasty because she hadn't been outside for a month.. I had my picture taken with Phant (my stuffed friend the elephant) who I will take a picture with every month so you can see how I grow.

Visitors!

Me and Katherine
Katherine embroidered a hat with my name on it!
Me and Shannon
Me and Trish
Mom finally is starting to feel rested and we started to have more visitors.

Three weeks!

When I was almost weeks old, many exciting things happened. Grandpa Duane came to visit. I played hard to get by making a cranky face every time he tried to take my picture and then smiling when he put the camera away. It snowed. Which was very beautiful. Mom took me to get cranio-sacral which helped me feel really mellow and I slept a lot over the next 24 hours. Since then I have been way less fussy. Mom, dad and Grandpa Duane completed the Portland hamburger trifecta by trying three different hamburgers from three different awesome burger places. It wasn't quite so awesome by the third burger because mom and I became quite gassy.

Two Weeks!

When I was 13 days old, dad helped me to go poop in the potty. Mom and dad were so excited and since then I often hold my pee or poop for the potty. After all, who wants to soil themselves and then sit around in it?

This same day, mom and dad's friends Shawn and Dawn came over to visit and brought food for dinner, it was a big day for us!

At two weeks, cousin Miya and Nana Carla came to visit for the weekend. They cooked and cleaned for mom and dad and held me and rocked me to sleep, which is my favorite way to fall asleep! It was a busy weekend, because I also had my two week check up. Wendy came over and gave me an A+ for health. She had to weigh me twice because when I weighed in at 9 lbs. 3 oz. none of us could believe that I had gained 18 oz. in 7 days! Grandpa bill stayed through the next week and help mom recover by cleaning and cooking all the meals. Thanks Grandpa!

Family photo shoot!

When I was 11 days old, Grandpa Bill came to visit and we did a family photo shoot. I couldn't be bothered to be awake for any of the photos because I was still very tired all the time. I think I still look pretty good with my eyes closed.

One Week

When I was one week old, Yia Yia, auntie April, uncle Daniel and cousins Celeste and Sebastian came to visit. It was a bit hectic us all under the same roof with only one bathroom, but we managed. Wendy, one of mom's midwives, came for our one week appointment. I weighed in at 8 lbs, 1 oz.
