Hiking!

Yikes! It has been a while since I last posted. Lots going on here, but I sure was surprised to see Santa on the last post!

I wanted to tell you all that mom has been taking us hiking every Thursday for a couple of months now. We have almost hiked all of the hikes in the area that are 1-3 miles. Then we will be moving up to 3-5 miles hikes. We invite the members of our homeschooling group and it's good company!

Today we went on a lovely hike through the trees at a place just West of Vancouver Lake. It was 2.5 miles and even Otis hiked the whole thing! And then he had a gusher of a bloody nose. Oh well, at least we got to play at the playground afterward!
